Server Rules
- NO ONE UNDER 18 IS PERMITTED TO USE OUR SERVICES! IF YOU LIE ABOUT YOUR AGE YOU WILL BE BANNED! THERE ARE ZERO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE!
- Show some respect for each other. Disagreement is allowed, but degenerating into name-calling alone is not. In addition, using hate terms (such as the “N” word or “fag”) will result in banning if it is reported.
- We take all reports of harassment very seriously, and if you cross the line into stalking, we will work with the harassed user if they choose to seek legal recourse.
- If you’re asked to end a conversation by a channel operator (those with a %,@,&, or ~ in front of their names in most clients) do so or take it to a private channel. If you are repeatedly banned from channels for violating this rule it will eventually result in a network ban.
- Access is a privilege, not a right. Abuse it, you lose it.
- While many of the members of our server are members of ABDL Story Forum and there is a link from there to here, this is not a chat exclusive to there. We do have some people who have never visited there at all.
- Our IRCops will not get involved in channel management disputes except in official channels. If you have an issue with a channel operator in an official channel, please send an email to chat@abdlstories.club.
- Unapproved bots or IRC bouncers are not permitted unless you receive permission from Danni. Please email bots@abdlstories.club to request an exception. The reason for this rule is that improperly configured bots and bouncers can cause issues for others. Generally speaking you won’t have issues getting approved. Special limited ZNC accounts that do not support logging for privacy reasons are available. They do support in memory buffers for playback on reconnect, they just will not log to disk and have other restrictions in place. Contact bouncers@abdlstories.club for more info.
- All official channels are logged by the bots Howleen and/or Claween. Any official channel where they present and have ! or ~ in front of their names have logs that may be available on request if you have a legitimate need for them. Danni reserves the right to refuse to provide the logs to anyone if she deems the request is unreasonable or suspicious.
- ALWAYS follow any instructions given by a user with a ! in front of their name or who is set +Y on Join. These are IRC Operators in the channel on official network business. Ignoring their instructions will result in an automatic one week ban at a minimum from the network. A notable exception to this rule is the user with the nickname Clawdeen she is a bot and will generally not be giving instructions, but she may join on official business as she is part of the security tools on the network.
